Mr Chris John

Associate Specialist General Surgeon

Mr John is an associate specialist who has worked at the RUH in Bath for the last 15 years. He specialises in general and laparoscopic surgery as well as emergency surgery.

He has performed over 1000 hernia repairs, with lower than national average complication rates. He has particular experience in local anaesthetic hernia repair, as well as laparoscopic hernia repair.

He is involved with training juniors and teaches on the Basic Surgical Skills Course and the regional deanery skills course

Mr John currently only provides NHS services at Sulis Hospital Bath.
