Sports rehabilitation is specifically concerned with the prevention of injury and rehabilitation back to optimum levels of functional, occupational and sports-specific fitness.

Sports physiotherapists and therapists have the knowledge, skills and ability to provide the following:

  • Assess, treat and, where appropriate, refer to a consultant specialist for advice and surgical intervention.
  • Utilise sports and exercise principles to optimise performance, preparation and injury prevention.
  • Provide appropriate sport and remedial massage in a sport and exercise context.
  • Plan and implement appropriate rehabilitation programmes.

Our team of experts treat a variety of symptoms using the following techniques:

  2. Muscle stretching including muscle energy techniques.

By Car

Sulis Hospital is located 6 miles south of Bath city centre. Travelling from Bath, head south west on the A367. After you pass the Audi and Mercedes-Benz dealerships, on your left, take the first exit at the roundabout then turn left into Foxcote Avenue. Sulis Hospital is immediately on your right.

Parking

A visitors' car park is located directly in front of the hospital. This is free of charge to patients and visitors.

By Public Transport

There are regular buses from Bath to Peasedown St John.
