Sulis Hospital named finalist in Bath Life Awards Health & Wellbeing category
Sulis Hospital has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Health and Wellbeing category at this year's Bath Life Awards, recognising its positive impact on patients and the wider community.
The Bath Life Awards celebrate organisations that make a genuine difference to local people and this shortlisting highlights Sulis Hospital's commitment to improving health outcomes, access to care and overall wellbeing across the region.
As the UK's first private hospital wholly owned by an NHS Trust, the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust, Sulis Hospital operates with a clear social purpose. All surplus income is reinvested back into the local health economy, supporting NHS services and benefiting the wider community.
Over the past year, Sulis Hospital has continued to expand services, reduce waiting times for NHS patients and improve access to diagnostic and elective care.
Alongside the clinical services, the hospital has delivered a wide programme of patient education and community wellbeing events, empowering people to better understand and manage their health.
Being named as a finalist reflects the dedication of Sulis Hospital's teams and their collaborative work with NHS partners to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
Simon Milner, Hospital Director: "We're incredibly proud to be recognised by the Bath Life Awards. This shortlisting reflects the dedication of our teams and our commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of our community. Everything we do at Sulis is about making a positive difference for patients and ensuring that care delivered here benefits the wider NHS and local population."
The winners of the Bath Life Awards will be announced later this year and Sulis Hospital is proud to be recognised among organisations making a meaningful difference to health and wellbeing in Bath and beyond.
