Mr Edward Jefferies

Mr Jefferies is a Consultant Urologist at the Royal United Hospital, Bath. He qualified from Guy's, Kings & St Thomas' Medical School in 2006. He trained in the South West of England and has received specialist training in the management of lower urinary tract symptoms, complex stone disease and prostate cancer diagnosis. He gained his fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Urology in 2014 and was then appointed to the trust as a consultant in 2016.

During his training he undertook research into the side effects of treatments for advanced prostate cancer, presenting his work at national and international meetings and multiple journals. He was also the training representative at the British Association of Urological Surgeons Oncology Committee from 2014-2016. He is the clinical lead for urology at the RUH and is responsible for the supervision for the urology registrars during their training at the Trust.
