Expert care for your child every step of the way

The team of experts provide private consultations, assessments and treatments for children and young people from birth up to their 18th birthday.  Whether you need a routine check-up, advice on a long term concern or a surgical procedure, our specialist team is here to deliver safe, gentle, family-centred care.

Conditions assessed and treated

Our specialists have extensive experience diagnosing and managing a wide range of paediatric conditions, including:

Tongue-tie (ankyloglossia)

We assess and treat tongue-tie in newborns, infants, and older children — helping with feeding difficulties, speech development, or dental issues. Procedures are quick, gentle, and performed with minimal discomfort.

Recurring or persistent ear infections

From repeated middle ear infections to glue ear that affects hearing or development, we offer full assessment, medical management, and surgical solutions to stop infections and protect your child’s hearing.

Severe or recurrent tonsillitis

If your child suffers from frequent sore throats, difficulty swallowing, fever, or missed school due to tonsillitis, we can review their case and advise on the best treatment path — from medication to surgery.

Other common paediatric ENT conditions

We also treat issues such as adenoid problems, snoring, sleep-disordered breathing, nasal blockages, and speech or swallowing difficulties.

Procedures performed

When treatment requires surgery, all procedures are carried out at the RUH outside of NHS time by our experienced paediatric surgeons.

  • Tonsillectomy – removal of tonsils for severe, recurrent infection or breathing problem.
  • Grommet insertion (ear tubes) – to drain fluid from the middle ear, improve hearing and prevent repeated infections.
  • Tongue-tie division – quick, minimally invasive procedure to release restricted tissue.
  • Adenoidectomy - removal of adenoids to relieve breathing issues, snoring or ear problems.
  • Other minor and intermediate ENT procedures – tailored to your child’s specific needs.

All procedures are explained clearly to you and your child beforehand, and we provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure a smooth, comfortable recovery.
