Additional information about Miss Alanna Pentlow

Miss Pentlow qualified from Newcastle University Medical School in 2004 and completed her specialist Orthopaedic training in the Bristol region. She then undertook specialist foot and ankle fellowship training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, London, training with renowned specialists in complex foot and ankle reconstruction surgery.

Miss Pentlow was appointed as a consultant, specialising in foot and ankle surgery, at Weston General Hospital, in 2017 and has built up a thriving foot and ankle service.

Miss Pentlow has a keen interest in management and leadership, being the clinical lead for orthopaedics at Weston general Hospital. She is also very interested in medical education, having completed a masters degree in this area, and is lead for education and training in orthopaedics at Weston Hospital.

Miss Pentlow lives in Somerset with her husband and two young children. She enjoys running and muddy walks around the countryside.
